Just revisit the links from your initial Humble dowload emails and you should have access to the new build. Alternatively, if you have your humble accounts all set up, you should be able to redownload it from there!

This build is the E3 build, which included 2 new bosses and a few rooms, plus an additional handful of weapon mods, items, rooms, and bugfixes. It's a very small update "frontend" wise, but I've done a fair bit of work under the hood still.
Have fun!

-Joe

Hi Joe,

Do you recommend uninstalling the previous build and doing a fresh install, or can we just run the latest and it will update the previous?

Thanks!

Had a few goes with the new build and I am having a blast. Oddly I haven't come across any of the new bosses, but I have come across some new room layouts. I fell through the world in the first one. I have been waiting for the room to re-roll so I can SS it.

Other than that I am having a blast with the new build. The new larger item pool seems to be helping the items drop more often. Maybe I'm just imagining that though :P

Awesome work Joe! I will keep lookin' for the bugs and enjoying the game along the way!

Beebooba - You can uninstall the old one if you want, or just doubleclick and install the new one--it does NOT install over the old one though--instead it should install in a directory right alongside it. That's not optimal, I know, but it's how UDK likes to handle things.

Killious - yeah, expect bugs for sure--every time I implement new rooms or new items, there are bugs here and there. I have my brother and wife and a few buddies hit the game with some play testing, but a room's quality definitely matures the longer it's in the game.

Regarding new items: the pellet gun item and big dumb bullet items don't seem to work at all. They used to... weird.

Regarding bosses: There's a bull boss and a lantern boss. They each spawn only 1/6th of the time..the other two old bosses each spawn 1/3rd of the time. I think the UDK randomization node uses something in the memory initialization as a seed, as sometimes you can get stuck in repeating 'ruts' of the same content. Closing and opening the game again (which would reallocate memory) seems to reset the randomizing seed. I'm not sure if that's exactly what's going on there.

Anyway, back to work for me! :)

Once I get the room to re-roll I'll SS the exact spot where I fell through. I remember where it was.

Also, I haven't had a chance to find the big dumb bullet but I did find the big dumb rocket and that was AMAZING against Mama Spinbot.

Hah! I imagine it WAS good against Mama Spin Bot--it does 300-400 dmg or something like that and Mama Spin Bot only has about...800 health total? I'd have to check. Anyway, be careful not to aim at anything too close (like the ground...)

That sounds about right to me. It seemed to take around half of her health. I got the item from the last mob in the room right before the boss fight, so I was pretty lucky there :)

Well, the closest thing is my devblog: blankslatejoe.tumblr.com.

I sometimes(often) am writing that at 1-2am though, so it's coherency...varies.

But I do blog pretty much everyday there with what I've been working on, down to the minute details.
